1. Das Buch von Karin Jäckel/Gisela Forster:
"Denn das Weib soll schweigen in der Kirche -
Eine exkommunizierte Priesterin berichtet"

2. Die Exerzititen in Budapest, Mitte August, waren ein voller Erfolg.
Dr.Patricia Fresen leitete die Gespräche über "Spiritualität"
und "Brücken bauen".
3. Christine Mayr-Lumetzberger, Dr. Gisela Forster und
Dr. Patricia Fresen nahmen am 4. September 2004
an der Frauensynode in Basel teil. Etwa 600 Frauen diskutierten
dort zum Thema: "anders - wie denn sonst"
4. Die Kirchenprofessorin Dr. Sabine Demel schreibt in ihrem Buch:
"Frauen und kirchliches Amt" - Vom Ende eines Tabus in der katholischen
Kirche - unter anderem über die Priesterinnenweihe 2002 auf dem
Donauschiff MS Passau und die anschließende Exkommunikation der 7 Frauen.
Wir danken Frau Prof. Demel für das herausragende wissenschaftliche Werk.
5. Der Bayerische Rundfunkt berichtet am Sonntag,
19. September 2004, 8.00 Uhr,
Programm Bayern2Radio "Katholische Welt" über:
"HOCHWÜRDEN IST EINE FRAU
Das Leben als Priesterin der römisch-katholischen Kirche"
Eine Sendung der Hörfunkjournalistin Claudia Decker, die bei der Diakoninnen-
weihe am 26. Juni 2004 mit dabei war.
5. Die Doktorarbeit von Frau Dr. Ida Raming ist nun auch in englischer
Sprache erhältlich:

7. Dr. Gisela Forster und Dr. Patricia Fresen nahmen am 4. August 2004
an der Demo für Priesterinnnen in der rk Kirche vor der Westminster
Cathedral in London teil. Es war ein beeindruckendes Ereignis, das jeden
ersten Mittwoch im Monat am dortigen Ort stattfindet. Wir danken den
Frauen aus England für ihr Engagement für die Gleichberechtigung der Frau
in der rk Kirche.

('A woman must be silent in Church' - An excommunicated woman-priest

2.The retreat in Budapest in mid-August,
according to the participants, was very successful,
despite one or two setbacks at the beginning.
Dr Patricia Fresen led the meditations and discussions
around the themes: 'Spirituality' and 'Building Bridges'.
3.Christine Mayr-Lumetzberger and Dr Gisela Forster were among
the 600 women who gathered in Basel on 4 September 2004
for a Women's Synod. The theme of the day was:
'Different - what else?'
4.Dr. Sabine Demel, professor of Church history,
has written a book on 'Women and Office in the Church -
The End of a Taboo in the Catholic Church'.
In the book, she discusses, among other things,
the 2002 ordination of the first seven women on the ship
M.S. Passau on the Danube and their subsequent excommunication.
We thank Prof. Demel for this outstanding scientific study.
5.On Sunday 19 September at 08h00, Bavarian Radio 2 will
broadcast a program entitled: 'A Woman is Reverend:
Life as a Woman-Priest in the R.C. Church.'
The program has been compiled by the radio-journalist
Claudia Decker, who was present at the ordination ceremony
of six women deacons on 26 June 2004.
6.The doctoral dissertation of Dr Ida Raming is now also available
in English under the title: 'The Priestly Office of Women -
God's Gift to a renewed Church.' It is edited and translated
by Bernard Cooke and Gary Macy in the series:

Really worthwhile reading for our English readers.
7.On 4 August 2004, Dr Gisela Forster and Dr Patricia Fresen
participated in the demonstation for Women-priests outside
Westminster Cathedral in London. It was an impressive event
and led to both very negative and very positive reactions
and responses from onlookers and passers-by. This demonstration
takes place on the first Wednesday of every month.
We admire the group of women in England and thank them for
their commitment in working steadily for the recognition of
the equal rights of women and men in the R.C. Church.

2.D'après les participants , la retraite de mi-Août à Budapest fut un succès en dépit d'un ou deux contretemps au début. Dr Patricia Fresen a dirigé méditations et discussions sur les thèmes suivants : « spiritualité » et « construire des ponts » .
3.Christine Mayr-Lumetzberger et Dr Gisela Forster ont participé à un Synode des Femmes à Bâle le 4 septembre 04 parmi les 600 femmes qui s'y sont rassemblées
Le thème du jour était « Différentes-et alors ? »
4 . Dr. Sabine Demel , professeur d'histoire de l'Eglise , a écrit un livre : « Les femmes et le Ministère dans l'Eglise-La fin d'un tabou dans l'Eglise Catholique »
Elle y expose entre autres l'ordination de 2002 des sept premières femmes à bord du M S Passau sur le Danube et leur excommunication par la suite. Nous remercions le Pr. Demel pour son excellente et savante étude.
5 . Dimanche 19 septembre à 8 h.00 Bayern Radio 2 a diffusé dans son émission « le Monde Catholique»sous le titre : « Une femme révérend :la vie d'une femme prêtre dans l'Eglise Catholique Romaine » un montage préparé par la journaliste de radio Claudia Decker , présente à la cérémonie d'ordination des six femmes diacres le 26 Juin 2004.
6 .La thèse de doctorat de Dr Ida Raming est maintenant disponible en Anglais sous le titre 'The Priestly Office of Women - God's Gift to a renewed Church.'( Le ministère presbytéral des femmes -Don de Dieu pour une Eglise renouvelée )Traduit et publié par Bernard Cooke et Gary Macy dans A History of Women and Ordination (l'Histoire des femmes et de l'ordination) ,vol.2 Scarecrow Press, Lanham MD, USA 2004. www.scarecrowpress.com
7.Le 4 Août 2004 Dr Gisela Forster et Dr Patricia Fresen ont participé à la manifestation des femmes Prêtres à l'extérieur de la Cathédrale de Westminster à Londres. Cet événement impressionnant a donné lieu à la fois à des réactions très positives et très négatives de la part des observateurs et des passants .Cette manifestation a lieu le premier mercredi de chaque mois .Nous admirons le groupe des femmes d'Angleterre et nous les remercions de leur engagement et de leur persévérance pour la reconnaissance de l'égalité des droits entre femmes et hommes dans l'Eglise Catholique.
